Blog Post Extended Edition
So I was talking with the Eye of Sauron the other night and I think we need to reprise the “Running of the Rings” again this year (or maybe early next year). Basically we watch all three extended editions of the LoTR in a row. It takes about 12 hours. Here’s the recap of last years festivities.
I know last year the day we did it, there were at least two other events going on, so a few weren’t able to make it or were only able to “make an appearance” before social butterflying their way to other festivities.
It really was a lot of grueling fun and I was pregnant so I couldn’t even drink my way through it. Anyway, I mostly posted this so Davey could read it. Last year we did it in December, which is a pretty busy month, maybe January would be better. As long as Goulet’s on board (the whole thing was his idea last year), I think we should do it again.

I ate an entire cheese cake. and some lasagna. i brought pringles because they were on sale at rite aid. i am the worst person to have at a pot luck. i should go see if the unopen pringles are still there.
Yeah, another lord of the rings fest is in order. not in december. I got to know what happens to sauron at the end, i cant remember.
Some how lisa and i avoided every photo. and by "some how" i mean, every once hates us (well, me, atleast).

I like Pringles - I woulda ate 'em. Sounds to me like you are one of the *best* people to have at a potluck.
Lisa: OK, stupid, but did you ever search for "Bloggy McBlog" on Google? It comes back with: Did you mean: "bloggy mcbeal" - which also, btw, brings back nothing... For some reason, I find this quite amusing. But then again I *am* pretty easily amused.
"did you mean bloggy mcbeal" would've made me laugh too. I nominate 'bloggy mcblog' as the worst blog name ever. It wasn't suppossed to be a blog, but since I had to create a blogger account to comment on Natalie's blog, I figured what the heck. Blame the Head.

Lisa, you guys should have the Running of the RIngs during the first week of January, because I hella want to go and I'll still be in Sac. That's gives me a good idea! We should do it New Year's Day!!! It's perfect, we'll all be hungover, want to watch movies and eat restorative food and beer. Plus, it's a good way to start off the New Year.

new years day might work for me since i have the next day off.
i dont think i'll make rabbit again this year, it costs too much. last year it was like 30 something bucks for two bunnies. I'll have to see if i can dig up and pet store coupons.

New Year's Day might be a plan, especially if a lot of people have the next day off. They only thing is it takes about 12 hours, so we have to start by 11 or so. But I'm really glad to see so many interested. I think we will do this. Just have to make sure Goulet is here so he can use his laser pointer on the big middle earth map and so we can kick him when he starts to fall asleep during Fellowship.
